The Transformer hottie made special effort to mention her relationship with females. The 22 year-old even said, “Well, that year my boyfriend broke up with me, and I decided — oh man, sorry, mommy! — that I was in love with this girl that worked at the (L.A. mammary Mecca) Body Shop. The Body Shop has great people from out of town that come in, and don't want to wonder too far from their hotel on the strip. Many of the customers from LA not only ask for phone numbers without even getting a dance or showing any kind of respect that we're there working to pay our rent etc --but are asking more and more for drugs. It's obvious why so many shady people hang out there. I have people grab me as I'm walking by and when I turn around and try to ask them if they want a dance they just say they want to take me home. If you're enjoying the stage show throw a dollar out, or you enjoy someone's company and grab them, get a dance or give them $5. I don't go into a bar and sit trying to talk to the bartender and not order anything but try to get free drinks. You go out and you're being entertained you should at least spend a couple dollars on things you can't see outside--like 40 naked girls. The Body Shop is not a dating service. It's not a place to invite every girl to the Playboy Mansion or the Magic Castle or your hotel room. Yet, everyone on this board is right, for YEARS and YEARS the customers have gotten the message from many girls and the managers alike that they can leave and come back. Why spend money in a club? Why have a disease free fantasy when you can have memories everyday when taking Valtrex? I feel really bad for all the girls there, many are my friends, the ones who are really good people and are constantly bombarded with all the grabbing that guys do onstage, in dances, and how cheap dancing has been made to be there. It's also the reason why there are so many girls working there who probably shouldn't be, and therefor when there are new girls everyone is scared of having their purse stolen. As for me, I can say I've been nice to every girl there. To me I'd rather go to work and smile than be rude to someone who's on the same side as me. A lot of girls are great there, and it's too bad that a few girls are mean to the new ones. Still, in retrospect, maybe it's better if they don't work there? It can be good, but on average it's a tough club on any girl. I've even gotten sick because the place is so dirty. I ended up in the hospital due to having to work so much making so little. It may be a blessing in disguise, but it still isn't right. I feel fortunate for the good nights I've had there. Also the good friends I've made. I really recommend to anyone looking to work there to still work at their regular club and only look at it as somewhere to go if you want to come in late and work a few hours. Good Luck to Everyone! Did you pay the girl to play checkers with you? i find it hard to believe...plenty of guys at the body shop wanna "take me out" but for the most part they just want sex. some even have the balls to straight out ask "how much for sex?" its so offensive and it makes me feel really ugly, because only ugly girls need to fuck for money. and yeah the older girls definately do try to make it difficult for the new girls. one in particular kept going up to customers i was talking to right as i was talking to them! wtf!!! she was doing that ALL NIGHT LONG. and the girls also steal. one of the senior dancers even warned me to lock my stuff. the body shop could be a nice place, but the fucked up management, drug addicted bitchy girls, and retarded customers make it suck! It's a fun place to work. It's been hard lately for everyone, customers and us with gas prices and everything else. I've enjoyed talking to many customers that come in, especially when they're out having a fun night on the strip. It can be a crazy place, but a little craziness is good for anyone. There's a different crowd on the weekends and many of us are constantly asked for our phone numbers before we even ask if a guy or girll would like a dance. After a while I feel like people have the wrong idea, it's understandable, but Clubs are not dating services,much like a bar is not your friends basement where drinks are free. So many people invite me to do drugs with them. I don't do drugs, I'm in nursing school and dancing to me is fun, and also what I do to pay my rent. I'm respectful of people that come in, please respect the dancers. I've been getting grabbed a lot onstage, and to me that's hard to deal with. Being naked in front of a group of people, and dancing close to them takes a trust level that's hard to maintain. Remember all of us have momma's . Besides, it's more fun to be able to dance in front of someone when I can get closer. Thanks to those customers who are fun to talk to, enjoy entertainment, and who've been great people to have at the Body Shop. The problem is lack of clients. There was not a single PL and only one girl/dancer when I entered the premises -although I was told the dancers were in the back.... It is a nice enough area, but the goochie and the Armany exchange sign close to the club should have warned me: a half-naked man looking down on the club and not showing any emotion should have given me a clue. It just must have been too early -I was told the club fills around mid-night- but I was not going to while away my time in an empty club. I will give it another try during my next visit to LA.... I'm going to keep working here because everything is so comfortable. It's nice to be known somewhere. I like to run into people I met a while ago. And you can't beat the Trocadero next door as well as all of the other classy high-end establishments on this portion of Sunset Blvd. My problem with "The Bare" is that you must wait in line for the bartender when you finish your dance and hand her a little ticket so that none of the clubs money ever goes through your hands. That- and they don't seem to be partying and having a good time even on the contest night! I was tempted to be a friend of yours -I should qualify since I am neither a well-bred drunk, nor a wannabe rapper- were it not for a few minor points: 1. I am reluctant to let everybody and their friends know that I am not the handsome, blond, blue-eyed, left-handed, dexlisic son-of-a-beach (aka Surfer) some people might think I am, spending the hard-earned inheritance his maternal grandmother and father left him (frijoles alla..) -you will have noticed I wrote "the" not "his", as the money representing the inheritance was hard-earned, not the inheritance. 2. It is not that you are too young for me -I am too old for you. I am not 80-something, but I am not an 80's person either. We will have little in common -which might make things interesting... 3. Despite your very nice pictures, and nicely proportioned body, you are, unfortunately, too short for my taste -but then, I am not supposed to taste you, just be your friend. 4. Ours would have to be a long-distance friendship, as I do not live in California (nor the States). On the positive side: this means that I will not be lurking around the corner when you leave the club, nor will I be pestering you for oranges or dates. My next visit to LA should be in June. I have gone to several SCs, but the one that suits me the most is Bare Elegance: conveniently located it has quite a few good-looking dancers. Even if those that have been quite friendly to me (under "normal" circumstances we might be friends) are not there, I still find others to enjoy the club. The areas for topless and VIP dances do have privacy! Customer-wise you will find Caucasians, Latinos, some Asians, and a few Afro-Americans. Sometimes you have college-kids ,mostly on Mondays (=amateur-night -aptly named for the clientele). Why don't you give it a look, or even better, a try. This way I might get to see you in person! I might pop in on a night when I'm already up in LA for a shoot or something- because they're shcedule is lax like that, but I definately won't be in regularly. Why? Well there is the darkness problem for one. Then there are tons of drunk well-bred highschoolers and wannabe rappers wasting my time. This is not the dating game and it is totally inconceivable that they just walk in, stand around blocking people's view and ask everyone for their number. I've been known to meet OTC but only after my talents have been appreciated inside the club. oh- and there are NO private lap dance areas. managment is weird- they don't really "manage" us so occaisionally the bartender will get a hair up his arse and fly off the handle with long strings of curses for us ladies. Me and a handle of other girls PAY THE RENT at that place and don't deserve to be the subject of anyones loud negative tirade! Date: 3/24/2007 5:29am Name: Elwood_Blues (32) Subject: Out of the Shadows... i haven't been to the Body Shop in a few months, but here's what i remember: the later it gets, the darker it gets. i figured that the growing crowd was to blame for blocking what little light was creeping in from Sunset through the entrance doors. either that or management was intentionally dimming the lights to make it harder for PL's to find a way out. regardless, day or night, it never gets as dark at the Body Shop as SRWLA on DAYshift. i'm here to offer my strategy for dealing with the lighting problem at the Body Shop. if i'm sitting on the stage and i see a girl with a decent body and a pretty face, i'll get up from the stage and grab one of the chairs along the wall between the ATM's & the "bar"/entrance to the main lap area. from there, not only can i watch both stages, but to my right is the wall that curves around toward the entrance. that wall is covered with these horribly tacky mirrored panels. now i just have to be patient. the dancer i've had my eye on will eventually be walking toward my seat. and it doesn't matter if she's dragging a PL back to the lap area or if she's gotten turned down by every guy until she reaches my chair. she will come to me. and when she gets close, she'll be bathed in the light from the bathroom hallway, reflecting off those ridiculous mirrored panels, and i will get a clear view of her face and and her body (though fully-clothed) in the third-brightest spot in the club. and unless you can convince a dancer to hold open the backstage door or trick her into following you into the men's bathroom, there is no better place to get a well-lit look at one of the ladies of the Body Shop. but be warned: there is nothing that will prepare you for what some of these girls actually look like. i will admit that the Body Shop has many, many super-hot dancers. even so, i always memorize the outfit of my "chosen" dancer while she is on stage, since several times i could swear it was her MOM that came to ask me for a dance. i wish i was kidding. light is such a rare commodity at
