I visited Bare n' Legal in Pomona the other day and they have very good dance values.. The club is a little further of a drive for me than Ca. Girls but with today's economy everyone is looking for a good deal. Some might think prices in Pomona don't relate to prices in Santa Ana but I would submit they do. The clubs are located in a similar type of area and attract a similar clientele. Bare n' Legal's prices are as follows: 3 dances for $50, 5 dances for $90, and 30 minutes for $180. These dances are done in a curtained vip room fully nude. As you might expect, dance mileage is very good. While this compares with Ca. Girls at 4 bikini dances for $80 the dances at Bare n' Legal are much longer and fully nude. Even though the prices don't seem drastically different I much prefer the pricing at Bare n' Legal. I can get the 3 songs for $50 which last about the same time as the shorter songs of the 4 for $80 at Ca. Girls. Every bit of money saved in this economy makes a difference. If I want an extended session the 5 songs for $90 lasts almost 15 minutes. A pretty good deal. Another example would be The Strip Joint also located in Pomona. They just reduced their vip's on Wednesdays and Thursdays to half-price. So the price for a topless vip for 10 songs is only $75. For 10 songs nude it's $125. A much better value than Ca. Girls. One more example is Deja Vu in City of Industry. They have frequent 3 dances for $20 specials that last well over 6 minutes. Then their nude vip is $150 and lasts 30 minutes (only $100 on Thursdays). This is one of the best deals in the area and the main reason DVCOI is one of the busiest clubs. Just look on Zbone for customer activity. I bring this matter up not to bash Ca. Girls but to just point out the economic realities out there. Customers will seek out the best deals even if it's a few miles more to drive. If Ca. Girls pricing was just a bit better they would then do a lot more volume and make more money in the end. $80 is a lot to shell out when the dance goes so quickly. For $80 the dance should last at least 10 minutes not the barely 8 minutes it is now. Just my humble opinion but I hope management is listening. I thought the club was fairly busy with customers for a dayshift. I believe there were about 7 dancers present. The club has recently added a vip room that is curtained and very private. This new area does add a new element to the club. As an veteran PL I have a couple of suggestions for management (as I believe they read these posts). First of all, the addition of a curtained vip area is a great idea. It just needs to be priced better. This is Santa Ana, after all and I believe more money will be made for the club by slightly lowering the price to make it a better deal. The songs are awfully short and I couldn't help feel short - changed by the amount of time I had. I think if the club priced this vip at 5 songs for $80 customers would buy more vip's. The regular dances priced at 3 songs for $30 is OK. Again, the songs seemed to be cut very short. I thought, a short time ago, the club lowered prices to $10 per dance with no minimum (which would be great to try out new dancers without risking a lot). If the songs are at least 2:30 to 3 minutes then the average customer will feel he's getting a good value. The better the value of the club the more it will attract better and more numerous customers. This will then attract higher quality dancers as they can make more money. The club should look to the example of Deja Vu in COI as one of the busiest clubs around because it has very attractive pricing. The changes this club has made definitely puts it on the radar screen for myself instead of making the drive to COI. Only time will tell if the club can attract higher quality dancers (and better customers) and become a strong contestant for veteran PL's time and money. It's the owner that doesn't realize he has poor management skills. His brothers ran their clubs better and made customers want to return. This owner tries to f*ck over every customer and now wants to pimp the dancers by having them do more in the curtained booths so he gets like half their money. The owner can fool some customers but not for long and the word gets out and it's not good. He also tries to fool the dancers but many have learned. I was told a story were the owner even went to a party hosted by some ITA staff during the holidays last year and he tried to get some of the girls to go work for him. Like they are going to give up working where they make more money to help him after he sold them out and trashed the girls regular business when he doubled the prices. The girls lost so many regulars, some couldn't make their rent and car payments. The owner didn't care. He was getting ready to sell the club. He's like a pimp. Guys can see what he is up to at this club that failed as a Bar under his management. He screwed over the bar customers and they stopped comming in. He wants the girls to start doing more in the vip. Why would dancers not struggling to make money doing fair and honest bikini dances want to do have to put up with doing more mileage for his benefit in curtained booths. I hope you girls stick with the $10 dances and don't to start feeling pressured to do more in the vip to keep up with the girls that will. That puts the girls in an awkward position. If they don't put out mileage some guys will start calling them ROBs and I don't think the Santa Ana gang members that go to that club will like not getting more service. Some guys will give this place a chance I suppose. On a visit I made here I did get dances in the vip room booths which are much like the CA Girls Anaheim vip room and Imperials. The club was slow. It'd really would suck if the 3 for $30 dances are no longer done inside the vip room and that is why guys don't like to be watched . If within the vip room they have some curtained booths and some booths without curtains then it's sort of like Imperial Pico's vip room was. They had topless or nude dances available in either booth. Then factor the extra dances at $20 each ? Imperial Anaheim set the OC standard with the 3 for $30 vip bikini dances with outstanding in-shape dancers and gradually increased the minimum price by $10 but always added 1 extra dance. No problem...the club had alot of proven good dancers. We know that the CA Girls Clubs are run by the same owner that fired his ill Brother, fired successful management, fired strippers that didn't kiss his ass. Then he screwed over all the ITA customers. Overnight he had a major brain fart and increased the popular $50 for 5 dances vip to $100 for 5 dances and the dances remainned the same. The Santa Ana CA Girls 4 for $80 is pretty much the same crap being shoveled by the owner believing OC patrons have forgotten. That crapp smell reminds us of his presence. If this club can't be as good as the original Imperial was from 1999 - 2007/2008 then OC strip club patrons should stay away. It's in gang land area anyway. At least ITA (under new ownership) has way more attractive dancers as it has maintained a quality standard. It has some vip room dance special nights, $10 mainroom dances everyday, 2-4-1 $10 black out dances and the vip room is 4 dances for $60. The vip room prices are not as good as it was but everthing else of original ITA is there and that makes that place better than this place. This club is damn slow. The stage remains empty for long duration. They had some lame girl on girl show using glow in the dark paint. The only thing guys could see was the paint and it wasn't entertaining watching it dry. If guys are looking for high mileage Club Flamingo in Anaheim is the place. Girls in the curtained dance area will do topless and drop their bikini down around their knees. VHM and UHM available to. It's discouraging to dancers when they give a good effort and then have to deal with customers who are rude or don't give tips. I'm just the opposite in that I reward dancers who provide a good experience and I'm always polite and friendly. And your right my sampling of just a few dancers during the day may not be reflective of other dancers that work there. Maybe the dancers I've had just give boring dances. I was actually hoping someone would discreetly recommend some dancers that I hadn't already tried. I think with the changes in the club good things may be on the way. I've seen it in other clubs where things looked pretty bleak and then the momentum changed. When the club starts attracting better customers then better dancers will work there. Why not get more dances and get more tips? Why not make the dances more fun (within the limits of an OC club) and have customers keep coming back for more? The "good" is that the dances are priced very well. There is some privacy and the song lengths are pretty good. There is a lot of potential for the club. The "bad" is that the dances are rather tame (at least with the dancers I had). I'm very discreet and I think that is appropriate for this board. However, I think the dances could be more a little more exciting. I understand it may just be the dancers that I chose. Perhaps there are other attractive dancers that are more fun like Flamingo's or Ecstasy. So, the jury is still out for me. There were only 4 or 5 dancers when I visited during the day. I was the only customer for some time. With the new pricing, however, the club may get busier as they should. Even with just a few dancers that is enough if the experience is better than average. It would be nice to hear what dancers are the most fun during the day or evening shifts. I don't want to get anyone into trouble but tame dances are just not going to do it for me. So, in my opinion, the club has taken huge leaps forward by changing to a nude club and making some pricing adjustments. We'll just have to see how things turn out in the future with the quality of dancers and dances available. I think it's a very good move on the part of management to make the dance prices the same every day. Customers won't need to worry about which day of the week they can visit.
