I'm glad the atm machine wouldn't take my card, cause of the $5 fee, and when i was drunk enough that didn't matter. I was brought up on stage and given a triple lap dance, and it was a blast! I haven't been there in around a year, and was wondering if Julie Berlin still worked there. I heard about SiN moving to Sam's, and she sure was entertaining, but my favorite was Julie Berlin. perhaps someone knows where she's dancing, if she still is? It was her opinion that the Hollywood clubs will not be restored to topless status anytime soon. I asked her the age old question of why Hollywood gets treated differently from every other location within the City of Los Angeles. She gave me the dumb stripper answer that Hollywood was indeed a true separate entity. That's just wrong but I didn't want to get on her bad side by proving her dumbness to her. So I and others continue to ask the question but nobody seems to have an answer. Hollywood is under the jurisdiction of LAPD and the same liquor authorities as every other goddamn topless club in the State of California. I can imagine that the authorities would prefer to single out Hollywood - to not have it live up to its sleazy image, and let tourists think that L.A. is a tame town if they use Hollywood as their sample. But the laws are the same throughout the city when it comes to stripclubs, and the same throughout the state when it comes to booze in stripclubs. So how come the Hollywood proprietors don't seem able to protect their legal rights to put nipples on display as we see in other topless clubs all over L.A.? I have a couple of drinks and enjoy watching and talking to some of the most beautiful and interesting dancers in L.A. that nobody knows about. Nice club, nice booze, nice babes, interesting crowd. BUT...I see that the the authorities (probably the liquor authorities) have now knocked the place down to a fully clothed exotic dancing emporium. Apparently this has happened to topless clubs all over Hollywood - they were once topless, then pasties, now full coverage. Burkas are coming next year. I still fail to understand how Hollywood is treated differently from every other locale in the southland. It is part of L.A., and for purposes of alcohol control it is regulated by the same authority that regulates every other topless club which sells booze. I didn't really mind the lack of skin on my recent visit as I was at the club to socialize with a couple of excellent friends. The club was very quiet on a weekend night. I was surprised that we were hit on by virtually every dancer in the club for private dances at $25. Normally you don't get pressure for dances at topless clubs and it hasn't been a feature of this one in the past. A couple of the dancers were major pains in the ass almost literally begging for dances and coming back repeatedly. Others were happy to hangout and just enjoy our stimulating company. I met Layla Jade. Not my type at all but her assets are undeniable. Very nice to hang out with as well. I felt that I "owed" her at least once dance plus I've always wondered what a lap dance was like at Cheetah's (right, never had a single one), but most importantly I was curious about what kind of dance you can get from a porno girl who has taken golden showers, gang bangs and every other goddamn demented thing on video that the SFV sleazebags can dream up to satisfy satyrs. Well, sad to say she was a Campfire Girl in the lap dance room. Looking around at 2-3 other couples it didn't look like mileage was going down anywhere so I probably can't blame her. As I said, I have enjoyed this club. However, if they think they are going to get by as a low mileage, high price, lap dance hustle joint in the face of the harrassment they are obviously getting from the authorities, they better hope there are 10 thousand times more suckers in L.A. than I think there are. I have a feeling that the Cheetah's space once thriving as a topless club, is on its way to becoming just another edgy, hip Los Feliz restaurant or boutique.
