so I went here and just left. The ad in the paper said free admission. That usually means $5-10 for drinks and it was at least $10 might have been 12, but besides the point. I was the only car in the parking lot and the guy wouldn't tell me if there were any customers, any dancers, or a floor show, so I assumed there were no customers, there were few dancers, and there would be no floor show. Also, when I asked about laps, the pricing had gone up, the $10 value lap was gone as advertised before and worst of all, one of the girls walked out into the lobby while I was sorting this out with the bouncer/cashier and one look at her made me glad I hesitated and I left.

Holy crap does this club suck! The bouncer told me to park in the reserved parking spot, pretty sure he was trying to have my car towed. We went on a Friday night and it was slow as hell. All the girls were butt ugly except for Sandy. Lap dances got 0 mileage. Only about 10 girls working, and most of the time they are in the back. Honestly the worst strip club I've ever been to.

Thanks. Yeah, I don't double check my writing like I should.
I do remember that one of the dancers tried to tell me the nudes were $30 after we were done but I said we could check with the manager and she said it was ok.
I agree that raising the prices was a big mistake. They may regret it. I don't know if I want to go back now.

That explains it (BTW, the nude price $20 in your post has a typo).
If they doubled the price so soon, it is a mistake IMHO. They haven't yet built nearly enough following, judging from the dismal numbers of both customers and dancers when I was there on a weekend night. I would have spent few hundred bucks on nude laps if the original price structure was intact. I ended up spending much less than that.
Grand opening or not, $40 nude lap for a 2:20 minute song is priced out of the market. For example, the Century near LAX this weekend had much prettier girls, 3:00 minute songs, and $30 nude laps.

When I went...again, it was before the official grand opening, the dances were $10 topless and $220 nude. The songs were about 2 1/2 minutes. Guess it must have been the introduction rate. I haven't been back since.

I went to Platinum based on this information planning to do nude laps with a few girls. Well, the prices are actually $10 bikini, $20 topless, and $40 nude. To add insult to injury, the songs are 2:20 minutes regular and 1:50 minutes for the 2-for-1's. Not worth it by a long shot.
Too bad really. The club has a nice setup and nice stage, but few customers and few girls (only one really attractive girl, Sadie). When I read the reviews below about low dance prices and flat tipout for the girls, I was optimistic that they may replicate the TJ Theater model in its glory days. Not even close.

This club is GREAT! Went in on a Friday night and door was only 10 bucks with a one drink minimum at the door. The door staff was really friendly tellin me that the dances were 10 bucks topless, 20 nude, and 4 songs in the VIP for $80. They also told me the club has been open for less that two months, so I expected it to be dead in there...that was not the case. I didn't expect the place to be as big as it was, walked through the double doors and was like, "Damn!" Ten'o clock and the place already had a bunch of girls and customers...there must of been like 20 or so girls and all of em' were lookers. Mostly Latinas in the house but they also had some white and Asian girls. Everything was really nice in there...they had a huge stage so big you could probably have a 10 girl orgy on there and they would still have space all around them. Sound system was crisp and bumpin. Every so often the DJ would throw a VIP special giving away a extra song so like 5 song for 80 bucks...they weren't stingy on the song legnth neither. In all this club rocks! I love the club, like the prices, and like I've heard time and time again,"Happy dancers equals happy customers!"

Come check L.A.'s newest and hottest club! Brand new prices starting today. For starts the admission is $5 in the day and $10 at night with a 1 drink minimum. The best part is they have $10 dances and the dancers keep all their money with a flat fee. These guys are really tryin to blow away the competition. Guys check out this club...it's super nice inside and really HUGE!

Visited the new club

Stopped by Platinum Gentlemen’s Club around 3 pm.
$5 entry during the day and $10 at night. Garage parking. Large stage in the middle of the club. There’s a loft above the bar, yeah, the club is about two stories high inside. Raised topless and nude dance area along the walls and VIP area with windows. There’s also a small fake fireplace.
There were 5 dancers which I didn’t expect because the club is so new. The dancers were:
Siren - probably the prettiest of the group. Long dark hair with smaller breasts. A few tattoos.
Solay - about the same description but with larger probably enhanced breasts.
Valerie – about the same build as Solay, dark hair with bands of blonde in front.
Ricki – dark hair and a little spare tire.
Monique – the spinner of the group. Small breasts and very slender and blonde hair.
Monique and Siren were trying out the club and I was told they work at Bare N Legal.
Not a bad club but it may take a while to get more dancers and build a clientele.
