Fact is we like to say YMMV for certain girls. But really I'm sure YMMV goes for every dancer and probably for any given dance. I mean there's all kinds of factors involved like J-Jay pointed out. Maybe they're just in a bad mood, maybe they just aren't that into you...who knows. I mean maybe a lot of air-dancing initially should have been a red flag. I generally don't try to get mileage out of a girl, especially the first few dances, but if it happens I don't stop them. But like I noted in my review something was in the water (probably the alcohol...haha) on Saturday and I think I got all kinds of mileage out of every girl I danced with...and quite a few were first time dances. Maybe Melrose was faking her buzz...maybe her dance wasn't great because she was too tipsy. Who knows. I got a couple of dances from Vanessia whom I regularly dance with (when I can...the girl needs like a waiting list cause she rarely makes it past the DJ booth on busy nights before being snatched up, not to mention her long breaks) anyways I like her dances a lot. Great grinding, really sexy but I wouldn't call her VHM and from other reviews I've read here she's somewhat limited mileage. So when I dance with her I've come to expect moderate mileage. But Saturday I was pleasantly surprised she was more hands (mine and hers)on than ever and VHM. What changed? Who knows but YMMV. And that night she was up for a lot more than usual. Point is hard to write-off a dancer after one experience. Sometimes you got to dance with them again to make sure. I have never danced with Melrose so I can only give you what I have observed; which may or may not be correct. I agree, she is smokin' but she's never approached me for a dance and I don't approach dancers whom have never approached me. I did that once and she gave me the worst dance I've ever had. My belief is that Melrose's dances are most likely YMMV. I think everyone gets a great sales pitch but only a few get a great dance from her. I have no idea how she decides who gets her best effort. I don't know if it's based on attraction, how aggressive the he is, etc, etc... The second part of this observation generally (but not always) holds true for most dancers. I have noticed that after a single nude dance, sometimes Melrose (or any other dancer) and the PL don't walk out together or they're not talking much. Right or wrong, I take that as a warning sign, especially if he is a regular (like me) that I know will spend $$. Melrose does have a number of regulars and I have NEVER seen or heard (in the club) anyone get cross with her. As I said, this is just my observation (which may or may not be right.) I just wanted to make sure if this is the same girl that I got dances with on VIP night. I couldn't quite hear her with all the noise, but what I made out with was Mayrez or Melrose. She was in a cute pink outfit showing her nice little booty with a bow on the back and a flower on her hair. She's a sultry looking Latina between 5'2'' to 5'4" with dark hair. I don't remember her having any bolts on, I think they were natural if I recall. My point is, from my personal experience. I thought she was bit of a rob. She played a good game at first, acting like she was drunk and she was up for anything. She tried to get me to do the half hour VIP with her for $500. I think you could get that with less than half that price at Deja Vu for more. But I still ended down $160, when the dances were only half off that night, and I wasn't even satisfied. She's also one of those girls that don't do topless. She spent half the time dancing away from your lap and she was all over the place with her grinding. I could see why some would like her though, because she is so seductive and she makes you think you're going to get down and dirty with her, but I find out that's her M.O. If you think I have the wrong girl or if you had a very different experience with her, feel free to elaborate and explain. I know there are a lot of her regulars out there, feel free to speak out. I wouldn't mind getting more dances with her if I know how to work her game because she is so hot. I got there just as the half-off specials ended...bad timing on my part, its too bad they didn't keep that up for the whole entire party. I think the other posts covered the experience fairly well. Seems like a lot of this has been covered so I'm going to reiterate a lot of what has already been said. The Pros to the party was the availability of alcohol, and the amazing line-up of girls. The biggest reason to come to SRI is it provides more eye candy I think any of the local clubs. Definitely more hits than misses at this club when it comes to the looks. They have them in different shapes, sizes etc...but for the most part they are all lookers. I realize that doesn't always translate to a great lap dancer but sure helps. As far as the alcohol, always nice to have available to get ya in the party mood. And it helps with the atmosphere as you can tell both the customers and dancers loosen up with a couple of drinks. The Cons to the party is the availability of alcohol, and the availability of the line-up. So really its just one problem...the crowd. It's so packed I didn't get a seat until after the party hours were over. To get said alcohol takes a long long time. And although it didn't seem hard to get a dance from a girl, it could be hard if you're looking for certain girls in particular because its so busy. And generally the girls are pretty busy too. Of course that just translated to me getting a lot of dances from different girls I hadn't gotten dances before. I can't even remember some of the names. So I was a little disappointed that I didn't get to dance with all of my faves, it was just too busy, especially since maybe the alcohol was giving me a little lack of will power and I couldn't seem to turn girls down so the budget was getting into a deficit rather quickly. Now I'm not a mileage hog, I don't ever turn it down, but I can enjoy a LM dance if the grind and moves are good. I don't turn up the heat unless the dancer does. And my experience is that most dancers will start off tame and warm up to you after a couple of dances. That said I think alcohol had these ladies in the right mood, cause considering how unfamiliar with these girls I was none of them seemed to waste any time letting me know they were up for some "attention" which of course got me just as up at attention as they seemed to want. Nor did it seem to matter whether it was just in the regular nude area with lots of others around. I was just waiting for a floater to break up the fun. Needless to say I had a great time. Spent more money than I expected to, missed out on some girls, dealing with the crowd wasn't the best but a great time none-the-less. Too bad they don't do these more often. I rolled in about 8:00 and there were already about 200 people (not that this really bothered me, as it wasn't my first rodeo). Needless to say, it was hard to get a seat. I tried getting change for a $20 from one of the waitresses and she never came back. Figuring she just forgot b/c she was overwhelmed, I pulled another waitress aside and told her about my situation. By then the 1/2 off dances had already begun so I decided to bite the bullet and forget about my change, since waitress #2 also never came back. I made my rounds with some of my regulars before trying a few new girls (at least new to me). I figured half price was enough to take the risk with some new faces and made my way through girls whose names I can't even remember. I do remember Passion, however, who I would not recommend at all. Her dance was mechanical and impersonal and she did more talking than grinding. Sorry, but conversations are for when we're out on the floor, not for when I'm paying for every two-minute interval. She was disappointed when I told her I wouldn't be getting a second dance and to top it off, tried charging me full price! It wasn't like 9:58, either. Closer to 9:30, so I was safe. When I balked at her demanding more money all she could come up with was an "oh, yeah...sorry". I wanted to end the hour on a good note, but by then a majority of the 50+ girls were either already in the back or just weren't to my tastes. Belladona was more entertaining than I expected. She definitely brought her A-game although I lost interest once the wig came off. Sorry, I just don't dig the punk rock chick/ Pink look. I agree with whoever complained about female pls. On a few occasions I stopped a girl to ask for a dance only to discover that she was a customer! I don't mind women visiting the club at all, but the last thing I want to do is offend anyone when I'm trying to unwind, you know? I know it sounds weird, but how about a female dress code, just to avoid confusion? Finally, the management needs to keep tabs on what people do right outside the door. On my way out, there were a couple of guys smoking pot right on that bench by the exit. Do that shit at home or in the privacy of someone else's house, man! The last thing we need is the cops raiding the club because some douche outside is getting high. Isn't the bouncer's job to prevent that kind of crap? She's pretty nice, has a good attitude, didn't mind doing topless, and has pretty good mileage in the topless area. Looks wise, I think she is decent looking, I rate her between 7.5 - 8.5. If you like the Asian type, that looks like she has a little Caucasian in her and is not trashy looking, then she's your pick. She has a very natural Asian body build, nothing too fancy with the curves, but is still very sexy. She's a little wider in the hip area than Amanda that use to dance here. Anyways, the thing that really gets on my nerves about her is that you really have to know her to get regular dances with her. I was lucky last time, her regulars just left and they had a showcase and she was free. From observing her at the club, she basically sits for an hour with one of her regulars, then they go and do a few dances in the back, most likely in the VIP area. She comes out, the guy leaves and she goes back to the dresser room for an hour, comes out to find her next regular and repeat the same routine. She usually tag teams with her partner in crime Miori who I don't find as attractive but has a more traditional Asian look than Kylie. It is very hard to approach Kylie for dances, because she's either sitting with someone, in the back, or at the dresser room. I'm just wondering if there is a better way to get her to notice you. She seems like a very nice girl like I said. And she always smile back at me every time we make eye contact, but she only goes for her regular customers. Maybe I won't be as obsess about her if she approaches me more often for dances. She's one of those girls that probably won't do anything over the top if you take her to the back but will still give you your money's worth, which I like. But the one thing I really like about her is that she is willing to do topless with you, a lot of girls only do nude and promise you could touch. But they give you the same mileage as a topless dance and the same NFZ. She is definitely one cool chick, just wish I could know her better. But when I got in, I was a little overwhelmed by the crowd, especially at the bar area. I found out it was a better move to wait towards the end to get drinks. Because the time you wasted on waiting for drinks, it could have been use to get half off dances. Dances were half off until 10PM, and there was 200-300 guys to like 40-50 girls so you do the math. Also there was a lot of female customers last night. Usually I wouldn't complain if there's a few female PLs, but yesterday a lot of them were dress like strippers and when they're drunk you couldn't tell if they work there or just customers, a very fine line needs to be drawn. The alcohol was a treat, and this was actually the first time I went to an event with alcohol. Usually in the past they have raffles, food, multiple features, but no alcohol. Like I said, it was better to wait till the end, because everyone was already drunk and the lines were much shorter and the waitresses even gave me a few shots at the end. As for the girls, I only got a few dances last night and I have to admit I was a bit disappointed. I started off with Summer, but she's getting old to me, been there done that. Nothing too exciting about her anymore, I think she still has one of the cutest smile at the joint though. I then went with this cute hot Latina girl name Mayrez or Melrose? in a pink outfit. Had a way complicated name and her real name was Kimi, maybe she should've just gone by that. She was cute with a decent body for an Asian chick, but NFZ throughout the whole dance, and she was just too new, mileage was still very poor. Other chicks that caught my eyes were Viviana, who I thought was one of the hottest chicks around with a great body and an exotic look. Me and her flirted a little and had eye contact the whole night, but she was always with someone. Layla was also very hot, did a dance with her but the mileage was not that great. Kara was probably the girl that I loved the most, didn't get dances with her but she was very flirty the whole night. She wasn't wearing panties underneath and she flashed me a few times. She was also the best performer on stage. Overall, if it wasn't for the alcohol to get me buzz. The whole thing was a little too overrated. Try attracting better girls with better mileage next time. The setup was great, 2 dancers on stage at one time! My first dance was with Lane, some tall white chick medium sized, but my favorite was Olivia, about 5'2'' 5'6'' with heels, medium sized booty, big boobs, cute ass face, latina, she said it was her 2nd day there, I grabbed her for the entire 9-10pm half off dance specials so I got her nudes for a good bargain, real good dance and I like how she's light enough for me to pick up by her smooth thighs and up on me. My timings jibe with his 2:25 to 2:45 for single songs played singly. I've found 2-fers to run around 3:45 or 4 mins, meaning 2 mins at best for each of the songs in the 2-fer. 3-fers can be 5 mins or more, or about 1:45 for each of the songs. So yeah, these are good deals if you're just buying dance by dance, but stay away from specials when you're starting up a VIP. (This club policy has been in place for at least the last four years.) There are two types of VIPs: 1. $500 for a 1/2 hour nude dances; where the # of songs don't count and 2. $160 for a minimum of four songs, nude dances. The songs MUST be purchased in four song increments; ie., 4, 8, 12... The songs at SRI generally average between 2:25-2:45 per song. During 2 for 1s, the song average between 2:45-3:00. They are a bit longer for 3 and 4 for 1s. The quality of VIP experience depends on the dancer you pick. And as always just like a car, Your Mileage May Vary (YMMV). Meaning her dances my vary from guy to guy. I misspoke earlier. What I meant to say is that if I get a $160 VIP, I tend to get them shortly after the "specials" because it will be a while before they offer more specials. In this instance, SRI is operating as a "private club", not open to the general public. Therefore, the laws prohibiting nudity at strip clubs don't apply during the time that it is a "invitation only party." Once the doors are open to the general public, NO alcoholic beverages can be on the premises. I'm not an attorney and I don't play one on TV. I'm dropping the knowledge that was dropped on me when I received an invitation. I don't remember any half price dances though I may have missed if they offered it occasionally. The dances I did were full price. There are more girls, but a heck of lot more customers too. There is no place to sit as the club is packed with customers. They do serve alcoholic drinks for free (the best part of the party), but the bar area is really packed and hard to get too, and waitresses are very busy. They also serve free orderves. They also have raffles with pretty decent prizes, like Lakers tickets and iPods donated by PLs. They also have food and a larger selection of girls than regular. It's like Vegas, they fly them in from all over places. I remember one girl that was there from Nebraska and one all the way from England, but I never see them again. Also, most of the regulars are there as well, including the day shift girls. But like I said, don't get too attach because a lot of them are just one night stands. There was this girl Melanie if I remember from 2 years ago, was one of the hottest chick and one of the best mileage I ever got at the topless area, all for just $10 a dance. I was totally in love, but I never saw her again. Normally, you could just get in by paying the regular cover price. I actually went to DVCOI first (apparently its free admission on Sun?) and it was packed standing room only only chairs open were on the rail as no one was even sitting there. The crowd was full of younger guys and Cholos so that coupled by the solid 6's and 7's, as far as looks go, made me pack up my shit after 20 min and head to SR. boy was that a bad mistake. I should have just gone home. First it was also "free" admission to SR. $20 to get in but got a free dance voucher, so guess that's pretty much free. now in comparison this place though was dead. 4 PL's including me. 7 dancers seated by the fire place chatting away, literally making fun of the PL's out loud. I got change from the bar a sat at the rail and could hear them talking... about how sweaty one guy got...how some one stole something from the locker room and how the cameras were not working so they couldn't catch the girl who did it...how one of them needed to make money tonight cause she didn't make any her last two shifts and how it looks like it will be hard to do as we all look like broke fucks....and on and on for a good 30 min. As the dance specials came on and the girls started their obligatory "wanna dance?" routine, I politely said "no thank you" at which point I was ridiculed for being polite...The beat ass dancer actually started to tell all the dancers walking by to " you should ask this guy..he'll be polite when he says no" Ended up dancing with Kara from day shift, who is now working sun. night as well from now on, but I must say her dances were un-eventful. Also got five or so dances from Violet, which were pretty good.
