Wow. That makes me feel really 'remembered' and special, and that is so cool! Well, sounds like there's been some changes at that club....for one, I see thru the posts that there is a new 'layout', though I will forever hold the image of the old club (actually, there are a few old versions: remember when there was NO bar? How bout when the lap dance area did not even exist and it was just booths and we still had the restaurant look in 1995!!! Do u also remember when we we juuuuust starting to offer nude dances, and there were two curtained booths ust for nude dances near that back door exit? Ah, yes, Kiani, now there was a dancer to remember fondly! I almost felt like I had been out on a date after a few rounds of dances and some between-dance bar/conversation time with her. Fascinating the "standard bolt on" trend that you mentioned. About four years ago I had a light-hearted between dance conversation with a dark-haired dancer whose stage name I can't remember. We got on the topic of bolt ons and she laughed and said, "Luckily, I don't need them, I was born Jewish!" She made a couple of more jokes about how being a member of the tribe was an advantage in the dancing trade because you were such a short-supply novelty, and charmed me into several more dances. I can't help but think that these types of dancers made more money for the Rhino than the current layout and In'n'Out Burger approach. I walked in when Margot was on stage, she gave a nice show but wasnt a good example of a hot french women she must have been thirty six. And as for the other ladies most of then had bad implants walked around like they were fine. I wouldn't even look twice had I seen then on state street. I got a dance with Lily because she was natural breasted but found out she has no ass to speak of and chicken legs. I got another dance from scarlette and she nearly killed me, way to heavy on my lap i couldnt enjoy the grind. I tried with another blonde who only wanted to talk to meabout the vip area so i decided to go to the stage and look for another chick. I gotta say I still miss the old layout. The old stage was right out in the open and the girls were elevated on it instead of down in a pit. There were a lot of places to hang out and talk over by the old bar as well. The place was just more casual. Now it is all business but what can you expect from the Rhino corporation. Everything is about CASH!!! For example, recently I went to Deja Vu in North Hollywood on a Thurs night. They were having a special on Private Couch Dances for $100 per 1/2 hour. Now if you believe the SR staff and their songs really are 2.5 minutes long, then it would be 12 songs in 30 mins. So at SR, that is $240 for 30 mins thank you. Keep in mind, at Deja Vu you are in a semi private curtained darkish room w/ no bouncer or clipboard guy wandering thru and no lap dance going on 2 feet away on the big bench. Also, Deja Vu has machines to collect the money & time the dances so there is never a question of how many dances you got or how long the song was. I do still enjoy Dr John, the DJ at SRSB. He is the one bright constant there besides the refeshing flow of student dancers year in and year out. I do feel that the Golden Age of SRSB has past us by though. Back in the day, I used to go in on a weekend night and have trouble deciding which great looking girl to sample. There were always 4 or 5 gorgeous girls that appealed to me. Now the girls seem to mostly look alike & quite a few of them are overweight. Many seem to be ordering their bolt-ons from the same page in the catalog. In the old days, there were 2 or 3 girls that used to be in high demand like Cali, Kiani, Star, Luna, Sabrina, Mercedes, Ivy, and so many others whose bodies and faces I remember but not their names. And recently, there was the Russian girl w/ that big fake chest who did so well. Nowadays that diva role seems to be held by a few stuck up girls who only want to do nude $40 dances and frown on doing 2 for 1's. I won't name names here but one of them is written about on this review board a lot and her name kinda rhymes w/ Gobana. However, even in today's Rhino world, the youthful coed types are still there & some of them are so much fun to talk to and lapdance with. In that category I would put Layna, Delicious, & Margot. Layna gives a great lapdance and has a playmate's body. She is very smart and fun to be with. Delicious has a softer body but she is very pretty and also gives a very nice full contact lap dance. I didn't dance w/ the French Margot but she is fun to talk to and has a great Parisian accent. Lastly, what is up w/ the VIP dances? The SR corp. hypes them all night long but really, they are a complete ripoff. I sure wish our one and only strip club was owned by someone else & I sure wish I could turn back the clock to the good old days. I guess as Dr. John says in one of his one liners (and he has a million of them, folks): "Just breathe thru your ears." So me and my buddies are coming back down from San Fran, to LA, when all of a sudden the drivers yells out, "The Rhino, the Rhino," and sure enough there it was right off the freeway. So after some debate about the time of day and if it was going to be fun we decided to go. It was about 5 in the afternoon on Monday of the long labor day weekend. We walk in and are a bit disappointed to see two girls and 5 guys and, three of them being us. We sit down and say let stay for a little and if it stays this slow we will leave. Then after about 10 minutes of being there they begin doing stage shows, and Nicki walks out. Man did this women have a body! So she starts her dance and goes around to the other guys, and eventually gets to me. She pulls my chair close and starts to dance when the guy next to me yells, "Yeah baby I love those tits."
