When you ignore a friend request, why is that user able to send you addtional friend requests? Also, when you block a user, why is it they can still send you friend requests?

Okay. So you blocked a particular member, then they were still able to send a friend request. I will look into this problem and post back here when I've made some progress.

I have verified that you are correct about the bug report and people are able to submit a friend request even when they are blocked. I will put this high on my priority list for fixes and will report my progress here.

I was repeatedly getting friend requests from someone and now I am unable to accept them or ignore them. I get the message "an error has occurred", no matter which option I take.

Oh oh. That sounds like a different bug. Tell me which displayname you are having trouble with and I'll have to take a look at it. It's possible that the person was deleted.

Can you please post or message me the name of the user so I can look into it?

Z, I sent you the name of the member in a separate message.
    Thanks.

Thank you. It turns out the Wiz and Dapac have the same problem but apparently not because of the same reason. Back to my dungeon to debug this monster.

Once you ignore a friend request, they can still send you friend requests.

If this is a feature, it shouldn't be...

It's not a feature but currently, that's how it works. Let me try to get the block fixed first, then we can worry about if ignoring should be an automatic block or not.

I suggest that it should be. Doesn't make sense to have to constantly ignore requests from the same user.

If the blocking feature was working properly, then you would normally block that person if you don't want to hear from him again.

The "Ignore" option is just to make the request go away. This still gives you the option NOT to block him and just not be friends. If we automatically blocked the person when you chose "Ignore", there is no option available if you did NOT want to block the person.

We can return to this again later when the blocking feature is fixed.

Okay, I've made a temporary fix for the blocking not working properly. The blocked user can still search for you but there is no longer a "Add Friend" button shown so he cannot try to friend you.

The final fix will be in the actual search function but that will be at a later time.

The second bug where you get an error when you try to confirm or ignore people have not been fixed as of yet. That's on my list.

Is there now, or are you planning to add a feature that will allow you to completely ignore someone's posts? I mean so that their posts no longer show up anywhere visible to you - including on the "What's new" page?

Currently, blocking a member only will keep that blocked member from looking at your profile or sending you a message. For now, that's all it does. In the future, I may add more features to the blocking.

[LouASS]-->Hey Lopaw who's post do want to completely ignore?  is it Felix aka "TheWaitresses Luver"?  He hasn't been too bad so far on the new zbone 2.0 although he has stolen a few profile pics from others.  Just asked Clark.

@ LouASS - I want to ignore alot of the RTRC's that are posted and flood into the "What's new" page. Either they are for clubs that I don't like or clubs that I know I will never get to. It's not a big deal at all but it would be nice if we had that option.

Un-like the clubs you are not interested in.

But if I never "liked" a particular club in the first place, how would that help?

I assumed that by default we get ALL clubs RTRC posts on the "What's new" page, whether we "liked" that particular club or not.

Oh wait. You're saying that you are getting notifications on your wall from discussion posts from clubs that you did not "like"?

I think you're thinking my profile page, while I meant the Home page.

From now on I'm going to make my profile page my default page instead of the "Home" page. That ought to take care of it for me.

I'm getting confused. I meant your home page. You are getting notifications on your home page wall from clubs that you did not "like"? Is that correct?

What seems to be happening is that individuals (DJ's, managers, etc.) are posting on their own on behalf of their club, so anything they post (RTRC's and anything else related to their clubs) shows up on everyone's Home page under the "Whats New" screen. Since these guys often use their club names as part of their screen names, it appears as if the club itself is posting, when it really isn't. That would explain why their posts appear where true "club" posts wouldn't.

    Yes....it is quite confusing.
