A fellow PL and i were having a discussion on being a regular customer for a dancer.  What are the advantages and disadvantages of being a dancer's regular?

    ADVANTAGES:

    Higher Mileage

No need to give her any Upfront since you already know she's not a ROB.

Less tips or even better NO Tips Required.

    DISADVANTAGES:

You miss out on ALL the other Sexy Beautiful Girls because you're only with ONE girl.

She will most likely Fuckoe YOU/Cock Block YOU so other girls won't be able to get "her" .

Her strippa friends will "Rat you out" to her if they see you with "another woman"

Manual, its ok to have a Regular girl, just as long as she Doesn't Know that she's your Regular Girl. Make sure she knows that you also hook up with other chicks. That way you get ALL the Benefits and none of the BullShit!

I have several regular girls that I rotate thru. I usually keep a stable (for the lack of a better word) of three or four girls. I make they all know up front that I dance with the other girls. It keeps the dancer politics down to a minimum. I get some of the advantage of being a regular while minimizing the disadvantages. A lot of times dancers don't mind sharing a customer with friends. If she not making money at least her friend is.

That's good advice Sal and NY. It might be too late for me on that, because I am already a regular to several and they know it. I'll save that for the next batch of strippers.

These are some advantages/disadvantages I see, some similar to Sal.

    ADVANTAGES:
    No hitting up for tips.

No expectations for tips because they know I will be coming back to them as a regular.

Front of the line pass, if there are other PL's waiting.

    Advance notice of schedule.

Can make an "appointment" to show up at the club, even if it's her off day.

    DISADVANTAGES:
Fuckoed/Cockblocked even when the dancer isn't sitting with you. Once a dancer claims you as her regular, other girls think you are off limits. They won't even try to approach.

Back of the line pass, if you cross her.

I once was a regular to a dancer. I would always get a dance from her everytime I went in the club. I'd show up late, with a bunch of PL's in line for her, but she would go to me first giving me a front of the line pass.

I wanted a change of pace since the last 5 times I went to the club, it was all "old dancer." I saw a "new dancer" I have always wanted to try out. I denied "old dancer" a dance, because the last 5 times in the club, it was all her. "Old dancer" got pissed off.

Everytime I went in after that incident, she always hits up other PL's first, then comes to me. My front of the line pass, turned into a back of the line pass.

When I first started clubbing I used to think that becoming a dancer's regular was a good thing....not any more. For me it is just another ball & chain. No thanks - got that at home already.

I love dancer variety, but it never fails - once I buy a few dances from someone they basically piss all around my table and now I'm off limits to all the other dancers. Fuck dat.

I had a similar situation with a girl but she employeed the "nuclear option"
Apparently after i turned her down for a dance and got one from a different girl i became persona non grata. I had been a regular at the club, the next time i went in no one would talk to me, not the doorman not the waitresses, not the bartender. I thought WTF? finally i approached a waitress and asked her if a particular dancer was available
    "she's busy" she snapped
"what about..." but she quickly cut me off
    "they're all busy!"
Now i imagine some tall tale was told at the club. I waited awhile for things to cool down.  i showed up again at the club about a month later and a girl who i had gotten some great dances with reluctantly agreed to dance with me. The dances were pretty damn cold especially in comparison to before.Totally ruined the club for me. My "regular" who told the big lie eventually left the club, the girl i danced with instead of her got fired even though she was a top earner at the club.
While it sucks to have other PL's in line in front of you things could be alot worse.

Some dancers get very possessive and become attached to their regulars. Once they feel they have lost that customer they go ballistic. It is usually not a pretty sight.

It's happen to me before where I've gotten Mad stare down's, But most have been cool with me and don't give me any real heat about it. It's usually the veterans that know It's ok to try other Meat.

The newbies or real young ones is where it happen to me once I tried them once they thought they own me when they saw me coming in for next time.

If they are really good or have a Huge Booty well I will continue to try them at their respective club first and if I find another one who is looky good to moi I will get with them as well.

God! I know what you mean.  There was this one time, I danced with this "young one" once ,18/19 years old.  After the first set of laps, she started hounding after that.  She went as far as telling the other dancers that I was stalking her.  Luckly, I was a regular at the club, all the dancer knew me. Eventually, we all had good laugh out of it.  But if I was just starting at the club, I can't even imagine how f***ked up that would been for me.  I would have been 86ed by most of the dancers.

Knotty Well my little bit of drama was with a well thought of Jedi, she told me the same thing, the girls who have been around do not take it personally, blah blah blah. Unfortunately i forgot rule #1 never believe what  a woman tells you.
Like an idiot i thought she was being sincere when she said it was ok to dance with someone else. When i did,  i not only lost my favorite dancerS, but the whole club changed. Even though those people are no longer there, the few times i have returned the bad memories come flooding back. I think it is just better to not have any girl consider you a regular, it seems like fun but is really counterproductive to the reason for going to a club in the first place. Easy going fun and when you walk out the door it's over.

Funny that my advantages/disadvantages to having a regular customer are completely the opposite of SAL.

    Advantages:
    - Less mileage expected. Every single one of my regulars would prefer to sit and talk in a VIP than dance.
    - Tips and gifts are abundant.
    - If it's a slow night or if I'm feeling lazy/tired/sick, I can have a regular there to make up for me not working as hard.

    Disadvantages:
    - Some guys become obsessively attached. This may be too harsh: but even if we have a good connection a regular will ALWAYS remain a customer. There is no chance in hell that I'll ever think of you in another way.
    - Feeling obligated to make sure your regular is happy.

I encourage all my regulars to dance with other girls though...but it is common knowledge among dancers that if you know a custie is another girls regular, that you don't approach them for a dance.

    @DancerDoxastic:

    Thanks for answering this!

The advantages for you would be a disadvantage for me, and maybe the other way around, LOL! I always thought the benefit of being a regular is less tipping, not more tipping.

But I think the disadvantages are the same for a dancer and a regular: Guys become obsessively attached, or dancers become too possessive of their regulars, and feeling obligated to get a dance from the dancer, or dancer feeling obligated to tend to the regular.

Manual- I spend a lot of time with my regulars so if they want my time, they have to make up for the fact that I'm not earning money elsewhere in the club. I do honestly love spending time with the guys I do spend time with, but I have to expect that they are going to take care of me for spending that time with them otherwise I'm wasting my time at work (key word: work).

I think the difference in opinion about tipping your regular dancer would be our definition of regulars though because in my opinion, regulars are the ones spending way more money than the guys who don't have regular dancers. It's a greater financial responsibility than just being a regular patron at the club.

I think the difference between me and some regulars is I don't like to keep dancers on lockdown. I know some PLs like to tip to talk or for company.

Manual, thats ANOTHER Disadvantage to having her be your Regular girl. Once she finds out that she's IT, she'll stop thinking of you as a Man and she'll start thinking of you as just an ATM Machine that just spits out cash. You're better off spreading your cash around instead of just giving it all to Just One girl. I hope you're learning from this.

@Sal: Your earlier post says it well, "its ok to have a Regular girl, just as long as she Doesn't Know that she's your Regular Girl. Make sure she knows that you also hook up with other chicks. That way you get ALL the Benefits and none of the BullShit!"

^ haha OH NO that is totally not what I meant, but I totally see how it was read that way. I was thinking of one regular I have in particular right now who is truly hoping that I will fall in love with him, quit stripping, and let him take care of me. I'll never see him as anything more than a guy in a strip club though. Even if I do think of him as a friend and a confidant, he's still a PL.

I also should of kept the paragraph I wrote about feeling guilty about taking my regulars money. I'm not a hustler in any way shape or form and I never ask a regular to give me a certain amount of money.

SAL are you one of those guys who hates strippers? I've definitely come across men in clubs who are only there to treat women like shit because strip clubs are basically the only place they can get away with it. I've always wanted to understand that behavior a little more...

Your attitude. The comment isn't an attack on you, I'm just genuinely curious and want to understand the behavior of all strip club patrons. Strip Club Anthropology. Your posts on zbone 2 and zbone 1 have been hostile at times and generally negative in content.

    So I'll ask instead:
What do you like about strippers and what do you dislike about strippers? Do you think most or all dancers live up to their stereotypes?

DD, You used to read all my posts on Zbone 1.0?? I'm impressed! I'm glad you enjoy reading my work. I'm thinking about starting a Blog about what I LOVE and HATE about strippers, so stayed tuned for that...... Oh by the way, that Regular that you have in particular right now, wants you to fall in BED with him and let him have SEX with you with out him having to pay you. Stop kidding yourself!

I think there are two types of PL:

     1. Guys who go to clubs to see naked girls.  In other words, horn dogs and mileage hounds.

     2. Guys who are looking for company.  They’re want to make emotional connections.  They want their big head stimulated more than their little one.

DD’s customers are basically type 2 PL.    I would be a type 1 PL.  So for me, to become a dancer’s regular, I’m looking for higher mileage and lower cost.
