Guys who have a stick up their ass about keeping an Internet forum discussion on-topic when the discussion is interesting ;)

also someone on this board once mentioned asking the waitress to get a girl for you if you don't want to interrupt her and another guy. if i'm just sitting with a guy because he's my friend or he seems interesting but he's not spending any money, i would gladly excuse myself to go to introduce myself to you. sometimes we have been mingling all night long and haven't made any money and are just discouraged, so we sit with someone we know. it might be our regular, but it might also just be someone that comes in every day and hangs out... it might even be someone who works there but it's their day off or something. you never know!
PL's: would you consider this fuckoeing? i think this is just killing time, not fuckoeing.

I think cASSandra stated most of the pet peeves from dancer to customer that there really are... there are a few pet peeves I have though WITHIN the club though that I could discuss since no one has really gone there yet... I like to be individual and I work very hard at creating a unique and interesting stage show, a long time ago there was a girl who would go on stage after me and mimic my entire stage set...she danced to the music I would pick (and I don't dance to a lot of top 40- I make a big effort to dance to music no one else does) she would wear similar outfits and try to do my exact stage show...I know that imitation is the highest form of flattery but it would drive me up the wall.... There was once another girl who would follow me around the club, talking to to each customer I had just talked to immediately after I had walked away, and a few times even sat next to a customer I was sitting with and trying to catch his eye... I found that really weird and rude... One of the DJ's here in memphis would always put me up to the SAME 2 songs...I can't even hear those songs anymore I'm so sick of them..I would specifically ask to dance to rock so I wouldn't go up to those two songs and he would play them anyways...my set list is like 500 songs...he could have picked ANYTHING else...and it didn't make sense because I thought dj's hated when girls did that, but he did it to me...
I can relate to your peevs for sure. I've had a couple of girls who were "bootleg" versions of me. Copying my obscure music selections and outfits. a couple changed their hair to look like mine, too. At our club, after 10 pm, they put more than one girl up at a time. My copy cats would make sure to get on stage while I was there and follow me from customer to customer. One used to even eavesdrop on my converstaions then approach my customers trying to imitate my convo. One copy recently told a customer "they call me Dallas, jr." Weird.
Many of my customers noticed it too. (They told me about the convo thing.)
Stay Strong, girl. This just means you are doing something right. Let the biters motivate you to keep improving. At a certain point, it becomes clear that you are "the show" and they are the knock off;-)
What's been funny to notice is how much money you make on stage compared to your "bootleg version." I'm sure you are still WINNING!!!

My pet peeve is VIP / Strip Club boyfriends and massage guy who makes me wait way too long for a dancer because they are too busy working their mouths or hands in attempt to occupy their ATF!s time. Since no other PL has brought it up so far I think there are a few on this board who may get offended. These are PL's who want to sit and talk with the dancers for 30 mins take them back to VIP or get a few normal dances and then come back to sit and talk to the dancer for another 30 mins about who knows what again and then after about another 30mins leave. I visit a lot during the day and understand it gets slow, but ladies need to learn how to stick in move especially when they see someone unfamiliar because they may be able to add another to their client list. Most of the time the guy doing the talking is some older guy who has more time to kill. I understand the importance of customer service and showing interest in your customer but I know a new guy walking in may be another dance VIP etc. so I often ask the girl if they want to mAke their rounds and come back to see me for another dance later or if they get some downtime. Sometimes they come back right away, or not at all. But if my intentions was not to get another dance in the immediate future, there is no point in monopolizing their time with my petty conversations or compliments. Not to say the girl should just give me the "wanna dance" line because the majority of times I will say no unless you got the ass of the year or it's a busy night shift a know u don't have time to chit chat. What I am sayin in this long drawn out comment is that PL's new to respect other Pl's by not thinking that when you are in the club the dancer should not circulate beyond your position and the stripper should recognize when a new opportunity is walking in that you should excuse yourself from your VIP boyfriend at least to introduce yourself to a new customer. You may be missing out on more money if you don't.
Whenver I've had my eye on a dancer that was talking for way too long etc etc. I usually just talk to the DJ and see if he can call her over to the booth so I could nab a dance. It's worked fairly well for me so far, but there are a few girls that have been annoyed by being called over. Just tossing it out there as an option.

don't come in trying to be captain save a hoe telling me i'm "too pretty for this" (i'm too pretty to flip burgers) or i'm "too smart for this"
this part of your post had me laughing so hard. i know what you meant but i just picture the opportunistic guy who reads this and gets a dance from you and says "Oh Cassandra you are the BEST, Of course you are great at grinding down on my weiner because you're too UGLY & STUPID to be good at anything else..."
Somethings are simply common sense, but i can see the problems with some of your pet peeves. Older guys started getting laps when your arms had to pinned at your sides otherwise a bouncer would stop the dance & rip them off. Guys frequently say things that girls have asked them. I have had girls ask me if i think they are pretty, some girls want to play the part of a princess some want to be a whore. USUALLY the girl seems to be trying to read the guy to see what kind of girl HE wants so he will get more dances. It's just another level of stripper shit. Girls know the basics of mens behavior, we have a need to fix things, so girls tap into that. "My car is broken/I need a car" or any number of dramatic scenarios so the guy thinks he is not exploiting the dancer his money is actually helping her make her life better.
What we really need to do is breakup stripclubs like Disneyland. Tommorrowland becomes fantasyland. Guys who want to roleplay go that that part of the club.
Snow whites castle is where guys go to meet princesses
Mr Toads wild ride is for guys who are looking for extras
Thunder Mountain is where guys go to just have girls pound down hard on their weiner
Zoe can be in charge of the tea cups, guys who want to make their head spin until they have no idea where they are

I don't consider it fuckoeing, but it amounts to the same thing. Because whether the girl is there to kill time or solicit business or because the customer asks her to, she is still occupied. Moreover, 99% of strip club customers don't know the difference. If they see the girl sitting with some guy, that guy is keeping her from coming over to talk to him.

and last. the club may be fun for you, and for me it is sometimes too, but it is still my JOB. don't come in trying to be captain save a hoe telling me i'm "too pretty for this" (i'm too pretty to flip burgers) or i'm "too smart for this" (i'm too smart to pass up making this much money in college) or that you will "take care" of me. i will not go to dinner with you, i will not be your facebook friend. if i give you my number, it's so you can contact me when you want to come into the club so i can make sure i'm there, not because we are going to start dating. i have made friends with customers before, but nothing more than that.
This is certainly an acceptable attitude, so long as you are consistent with it. If you make it clear from the onset that there is no possible personal relationship (like making it clear that the number is just to arrange club visits), then there is no right to expect anything else. State all the things you just said up front and don't leave room for interpretation. Then it's just fun in the club, no harm no foul.
The problem comes when there is no clarity on the issue. When the dancer strings the customer along with the promise of friendship to get him to keep coming back and spending. Like the classic "I might go to dinner with you when we know each other better" bit or the exchange of brief personal interactions on here or by text, which imply a future beyond the financial exchange. That's when it's not fair to expect customers not to react.
I agree with you though, the lower cost dances are a cheap way to test drive. smarter dancers will take it as such, and maybe get you to a higher dollar dance.
Yes, and if all the dancers were smarter they would be on here also. Which is why I have decided to only go see girls I see on here. If the others are too lazy than they dont deserve the money. Hell 3 different girls told me they were just too lazy to come on here. Thats just sad.

@tillrules: i haven't run into dancers looking down too much on lower cost dances or specials at DVNH. I tell them to come back when there is a special, and they seem to get it. I've got to disagree with you abouyt DVNH. At least half of the girls, run right to the back of the room during every single blue light special, making no effort to do them. And I have had some there who didn't like being asked for a cheaper dance and went right to the hard upsell.
