  A very reliable source has told me that Baygirls GC has been taken over by new owners and they will close in July temporarily and reopen with new management.

  I can understand it. The few times, I believe 3, the place was a ghost town. Things were so slow the bathroom attendant split. It's a nice looking club but they definitely need to figure out a strong PR strategy. It will be interesting to see what happens.

  I visited the club today and got the 411 - the club will be either fully owned or partially owned by the DejaVu chain. The club will close from Monday, July 2 and reopen as the "new" club on Friday, July 6th. So it will only be closed for a few days.
  
  And judging by my abysmal visit today.....they need something dramatic to help turn that club around. Hopefully the DV can apply it's good business philosophies here. I think both dancers & customers alike either love the DV chain of clubs, or hate them. I guess time will tell what will happen.

  As of today, Sam's Hofbrau is the new owner of Baygirls and will be closed for a short time while we reorganize the club.
  
  Although we work very closely with Deja Vu on projects, they are not involved with this project and are not partners with us.
  
  We hope to see everyone when we have a grand re-opening soon. We will keep everyone posted as we decide on the specific date.

  Regardless of who actually owns the club, I hope they do something new with it to make me want to go back. Yesterday's visit was pretty bad. Five out of 6 daytime dancers only came out of the DR long enough to do their stage sets and then immediately returned to the DR afterwards. Pathetic.

  The new GM Andres is mean, and he doesnt let me work nights. I have asked if he had a reason he won't let me work and he told me just cause. :-( i dont think its.fair because im an Original BayGirl and he's treating me like this. We all have bills to pay and I have school. I love BayGirls but if i cant work nights, i will not be there as often

  Brazil, You have plenty of other clubs out there that will allow you to choose your schedule. No need to stick to a club that don't treat you right. Hopefully you find one better to your liking.

  I moved close by to BayGirls but I'm not familiar with the area at all. So I would say they need to get their shit together considering the manager I spoke to didn't even know where the club was located and was so rude when I asked for the address. #VallyGirls

  Lucy- that's a shame coz it's a beautiful club, and the dancers that I've gotten to know there are awesome. Give it a try!
