So, I drove down to B'n'L last week as promised. This place IS a pain the ass the find, as it is located in a major logistical area and when you're looking at the building addresses, you think you've gone too far when, in fact, you need to keep going. Once I found the place, I walked in (no cover charge) but the doorman/manager told me I had to buy a drink (no big deal). Typical small neighborhood club, only about 3 other PLs in the place this afternoon. One dancer comes over and we start chatting. There are specials aplenty at this club, but you have to have dancers with whom you'd like to lap in order to take advantage of them. When the DJ announces a 2-for-1, the dancer I was chatting with excuses herself, because if she monopolizes me during the "specials request time" she gets fined. There were about 9 dancers in the club, none of whom I would remotely consider lapping, and each politely asked for a dance, which I turned down. Sadly, no Egypt to be found anywhere that day. Overall, seems like a nice little club, but there really doesn't seem to be a reason to make special trip out here. Without trying to be mean to dancers there, my old friends and I have a longtime saying that applies here: "Life's too short to lap with ugly dancers." I'll post my experiences at Fantasy Castle, DVCOI and SRI later. CP
