@Sax I get where you're coming from and honestly, that whole undercover cop thing didn't cross my mind and maybe that has something to it since I am a bit stocky and usually have short hair. Thanks to everyone that has given their views on this topic and I will take the advice given to me on here and see if the results differ. I generally understand your take on prejudice vs discrimination but again I just that the negative perceptions about latinos generally go on and no one really makes a big deal out of it when we both know if this were occurring to African Americans it would be a completely different story. Again my question is, why is it whenever forms of discrimination occur towards the latino community, they generally don't become major social injustices but if it occurs in the black community, everyone is up and arms and calling for "justice". No one wants to admit it but there are double standards on race relations in this country. Generally speaking, criticism towards anyone that is African American is considered "racist" and uncalled for but shit, why doesn't that apply when we say "look at those wetbacks coming over the border to steal our jobs" or "man, those asians sure can't drive" or " fucking terrorists" but will you ever hear anyone throwing out the N word or criticizing a black person before thinking twice about it? It's like White Americans do their best to protect and excuse African Americans and portray them positively but yet the same can't go for us? Just the other day, I was watching a JC Penny commercial with an "interracial" couple and guess what they were promoting? Yup you guessed it, a Black male dating a white female. Now I ask, when was the last time you ever saw an Ad promoting "interracial" couples where the man was hispanic and the female was white? Wow, I don't even know where to start but here goes nothing. First off, I mentioned that I was going to Rhino Torrance because that's where my friend wanted to go. His dad just passed away last week and he before he went back to bury him, he wanted to go to this place which is his favorite place. @louass I don't normally go to clubs in the valley and maybe that has something to do with it. I normally stay in the south bay clubs like you and sal said and I'm gonna make an effort to checking out other clubs. Like I mentioned in the out of town forum, I did receive even worst treatment by the "almighty white girls" while in Arizona and again, if it was they were 100% racist and I mean racist to ALL races, they didn't show it because they approached all guys there but latinos this included Black guys who were dressed in "thug" styles but hey, they no problem going up to them because I guess black dudes wear baggy clothes, baggy jeans and call them "bitches" (yeah I heard a group that was in the table next to ours) they find that "intriguing" and "attracting" but hey... a nicely dressed well mannered "mexican" isn't? @Cassandra, that's a very good perspective on the subject and it's finally good to hear a dancer's take on it. I have noticed that first generation latinos who don't speak english properly do tend to be a bit grab assy but again, they usually go to lower end clubs such as Nicola's in city of Industry or the Alameda Strip in LA, and quite honestly, I don't have anything in common with or the "cholo" latinos other than we're of the same ethnicity and same skin color. I can see why girls would avoid going to guys like that but the thing is, like you said, set your boundaries and rules and either A) they'll obey them and get dances or B) Go on to someone else. My issue again is being stereotyped into the same category as these guys when clearly I'm not. Again, I don't dress in attire to that similar of what these guys or "cholo" latinos wear, I tip girls that I either find attractive or put on good shows on stage or dance to a song I like and more importantly, I'm nice to everyone at the club that I attend as long as you don't pull any shit like avoiding me because of my ethinicity. It's essentially saying one race is "accepted" more or less by white america while the other doesn't fit whatever "standards" or "social status" needed to be assimilated into our society. Again, I'm an American Citizen, just as American as apple pie but yet I'm being labeled and looked at as a second rate citizen in society while African Americans are in way, put higher on the totem pole so to speak. @Manual DVNH is one of the few places I've ever encountered this problem but then again, last time I was there was about 4 years ago before everyone started pointing the finger at "mexicans" for this countries domestic problems so I can't really say anything bad about them but I know few adult films stars work there and I wouldn't be surprised if they're biased towards giving latinos dances over black guys because the racist porn industry doesn't take latin men into consideration either

I've witnessed WHITE WOMEN flock BLACKS who aren't spending ANY money but yet you have a problem with "mexicans"? Why are you in this business again? hmm....

So I didn't know where to start this thread or to even start it from the get go but I had a few other members of this site mentioned they've encountered the same treatment from white dancers at strip clubs. As I mentioned yesterday in my updates, I've encountered this treatment not only in clubs in southern california but also at clubs in Arizona. You see, the ONLY color any dancer should see is GREEN. The whole concept of a strip club is for a gentlemen to relax, have a couple drinks and interact with women who he is attracted to without fear of being judged or rejected based on their race or social status. This isn't the case with dancers who are white. Now the reason why I point towards white dancers is because that's my preference and quite honestly, my self-esteem cannot take the fact we're supposed to be living in a time when racism is supposed to be at its minimal and it has for the most part, to anyone that isn't hispanic. I understand that there are white women who just go up to white males and I don't see this as insulting, it's ignorant but not insulting. What is insulting is these WHITE WOMEN who approach Black guys, Asian guys and basically anyone that isn't a "mexican". That right there is beyond racist and it's occuring more and more at strip clubs everywhere. Now I recently had one of the moderators here message me and essentially stereotyped me like, well, the same way 90% of white women stereotype "mexicans" as... he essentially said I should "CHANGE THE WAY I DRESS" "CHANGE THE WAY I TALK" AND THAT I SHOULD "FREQUENT CLUBS WITH MOSTLY LATINOS WHERE THERE AREN'T MANY WHITE WOMEN". Not only did this guy stereotype me as a "Thug" he essentially said I should stick to going to clubs that just have minorities. Problem is, I'm attracted to white women so 1) why should I spend my hard earned money on something I don't like? 2)Why do I need to go to a place that "my kind" outnumbers, for one, I'm not a "gangster", I don't listen to hip hop and am doing EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to not fit these NEGATIVE stereotypes. I'm a college graduate with a BS in Business Management and when I go to clubs, it's to buy dances and get the attention of girls I cannot get while at regular clubs. I don't want to deal with this here but I still do... Again... who knows if this will be deleted or whether my account wil be deleted (been a member of this site since 04) but at least I have the joy of letting this out and perhaps, creating a change in how white women protray and look at latinos....

Just came back from spring training this week. I was out there for the weekend and me and my cousins decided to head out to this club. We've frequent it last year and even though the night started off slow that time, we had a good time. This past experience was nothing like that, it was one of the most rude experiences I've ever experienced at a strip club. I don't know if it was because 2 my cousins are females or what but it took me essentially putting a girl on the spot to get attention from these stuck hoes. The only reason why the girl came over was because my female cousin who was already buzzin called her over. I told the girl "keep walking, you've been ignoring us all night so just keep at it". She got pissed, called one of the bouncers and he came over to talk with me. I told him we're here visiting from another state, we have money to spend and are here to have a good time but we feel discrminated in that NONE of the 60+ girls working here are even approaching even though we're tipping and buying drinks. He of course, sends over the ugliest girl working and I told her, "no offense but you only came over because the bouncer told you to". My guy cousin feels sorry and gets a pity dance from her. Throughout the night, only 3 girls approached us and those were girls sent over by the same bouncer. I truly feel it had something to do with the fact that we are LATINOS seeing as the rest of the place had mostly Blacks and whites and a few asian guys. The girls working there were for the most part WHITE and man o man, did they discriminate us. I was so pissed off and buzzed at one point that I approached the ONE female I found attracted the most and told her ass off straight to her face. She of course was WHITE and was going to EVERY BLACK GUY at the club and kissing their asses even though they didn't tip her ass or buy dances from her. I called her a racist bitch and that she discriminates latinos. I called her out and told her that she probably has never even thought about giving a "mexican" a lap dance let alone date one but she sure doesn't have the same discrimination towards blacks. It was an awful night were racism towards latinos was shown, but again, racism is "dead" right? Because it's not occuring towards blacks and "mexicans" don't count.... Gotta love the double standards on Racism you WHITE PEOPLE have :)

ALLXXX, if this place was "remodeled", they did a very shitty job with it. They cram as many people as they can, there is no place to sit, to get a booth, you need "bottle service" and the alcohol is too overpriced. My biggest issue was the dancer though... I mean, I expect stuck up, snobby and bitchy attitudes from white females at the more upscale clubs but not from overweight, c-section scar having latinas who, again, are more fitted to be working as night shift security guards than strippers. This place is a complete dump and hopefully goes out of business soon

So I've been to this spot a few times now and yesterday was the last time I ever make the trip from South Bay to this shit hole. I began going here because a friend likes going here and the first few times were ok. The females here are more in the plus size and mainly hispanic. The place is ghetto as fuck and at times it looks like it's only a drink away from multiple fights occuring. So me and my cousin head out last night as we've never gone to this place on a Friday night and it was truly a mistake. The place is full of guys in gangster apparel, they're just standing around everywhere. We can't see the main stage or the second stage, no place to tip and worst of all, the FEW attractive broads at this place are STUCK UP as fuck!!! I actually pulled one yesterday and called her bitch ass out for making the rounds around asking everyone but me and my cousin. She's talking to some black dude for 45 minutes and the dude doesn't even tip her stupid ass (she's white of course). I tell her "you're over here talking to this dude for like 45 minutes and he doesn't even get a dance and yet you're ignoring me who's more than willing to get multiple dances from you? Her excuse, "i know him". I say "I'm sure you do". Another nugget, one of the "managers" there comes to my table and wants to take my table and take it some another group just because it was just me and my cousin. Please note that we are buying drinks and would GLADLY be getting dances if these Stuck Up grade D- dancers came and offered us some. I tell the guy I'm coming from the South Bay and that I've gotten better service than this in TJ and that I'm just going to take my business to the Spearmint Rhino in Torrance.. He gets all apologetic and shit and gives "free passes" and comps our 2 beers. (Fucking joke). This place is the $0.99 store of strip clubs. If you're not Black or some ghetto ass Latino (which I'm not) don't go to this place. The 3 attractive girls here are stuck up as fuck even though they wouldn't last an hour at classy club like the Bare Elegance, 4play let alone any of the Rhinos. Again, if you're not some thug black guy or a cholo, don't wast your time at this strip club for discontinued strippers
