Kobe was the one that gave that game to OKC with those 2 turnovers & missed bad shots. Even the final play of the game he didn't even come to meet the ball, so Artest had no choice but passed it elsewhere to beat the 5 second count as they ran out of timeouts. Blake doesn't get paid the big bucks to take the final shot, Kobe does. It was Kobe & Bynum's Fault.

      Malachai Kobe blew it! Blake was just being typical Blake. Matt Barnes or "Mr. Activity" as Stu Lantz likes to call him has been absent in the playoffs. Kobe single handedly gift wrapped that win for OKC.

Reminiscent of May 26, 2002, Western Conference Finals, Game 4, Sacramento Kings at Los Angeles Lakers when the Kings led 99-97 with 11.8 seconds left. After Kobe Bryant attempted a game-tying shot and missed, Shaquille O'Neal attempted a putback. When that missed, Vlade Divac knocked the ball away to try to run out the clock. However, it came right to Horry, who hit the game-winning 3 at the buzzer to give the Lakers a 100-99 victory and tie the series at 2!  less

      Ron Mexico They're all getting old. Barnes injured his ankle in the last series and hasn't seemed to recover from it. Kobe could play 40+ minutes in the past but both bad plays at the end looked to be fatigue plays. Gasol just isn't the player he was a few years ago...  moreThey're all getting old. Gasol just isn't the player he was a few years ago. I had also forgotten about that slam Sessions missed, which resulted in a fastbreak basket the other way, a 4 point switch in a matter of seconds and a killer at the time. If Sessions had given us anything during the game, that would have been a 9 or 11 point lead instead of 7 but... oh well...  less

      Spawn The way I look at it, I will enjoy what games the Lakers have left (make sure I have lots of Brewskies watching) and then I go into Sports Hiatus (Except for the London Olympics).
