There also needs to be better security at strip clubs. At the Rhino Rialto, there are no pat downs and no metal detectors. And the lap dance rooms (where the shooting occurred) are VERY private. That's a terrible combination.   We all want an environment where dancers can do their jobs and customers can have fun. And the clubs are responsible for ensuring that creeps with weapons don't get into the club.

I am a semi-regular at SRR. I must say that I was somewhat disappointed by SRI. I came on a Thursday evening, and the first thing I noticed was the prices for all sorts of dances were higher. They also didn't give me a free first drink like I get in Rialto. There weren't enough dancers working with a fairly big crowd; as a result, there was very little interaction between customers and dancers other than when lap dances were purchased. I only found one semi-interesting dancer, Diamond, and the mileage was not as high as at SRR either (although I am not sure if more was available).
